Pink Maloles

Happy to announce a new addition to my collection!

Meet my new Maloles Zoe ballet flats in dusty pink.

I have sang the praises of this particular shoe design in detail before, but I'll say it again:

The handmade pleated front held together with a ribbon bow is not just a cute decorative idea. It actually makes the shoe able to take the shape of each individual foot and it also allows it to be comfortable when it gets naturally swollen during the course of the day.

It also makes the handmade process of crafting the shoe quite obvious.

And I'm sure the rest of the gang are happy to meet their new friend!

Those things are so comfy and light, I would only wear Maloles if they weren't so damn pricey.

Good thing I got those pink ones for €80 down from €180 at Simple Caractere boutique at The Mall Athens. This is one of those investment buys that are totally worth their money.

This past 1,5 year since I've got my anthracite and my red pair I've worn Maloles almost 80% of the time I was in flats! And after all this wear and tear, they are still hanging on rather remarkably well (as they should at this price) although I had to have them resoled recently.

See the difference in the sole compared to the new ones?

I'm a big fan of investing in clothes and shoes that are not meant be be discarded when the season ends. I wish I never had to throw away anything, but since that's physically impossible the least I can do is to buy less, buy quality and most importantly take good care of my stuff so they last as long as possible.

I love them and I know they love me back!
