Spots and stripes

Firetrap multi-stripe oversized cotton knit
€15.74 (original price €65.60)

French Connection spot cap-sleeve t-shirt
9.18 (original price €39.36)

Both were bought from ASOS late last summer, during the sales.

Oh, how I love to hit a sale when it's really low and then wear my cute new stuff next year with pride. Yes sir, I am a patient person who doesn't care for instant gratification when one sees a good bargain. Colour won't go off.

Shopping ahead of the season rules.

LN-CC

LN-CC_WOMEN_SALE
Most of the time, the emails that end up in my inbox are of the irritating "a B-list celebrity wore our tacky brand" kind. However, sometimes they end up being about some really cool brand or shop that I somehow never managed to hear about before and contain no stupid celebrities whatsoever.

This time I was lucky enough to discover LN-CC.

First thing that got my attention was their amazingly cool-looking model. She looks so serene and confident, I just had to click. And as soon as I was in there, it was all about the clothes.

Take a look of my favourites:

Not in my price range, even on sale, but still amazing.

And if clothes are not your thing, fret not. They also sell books and music, including vinyls used and new.

Trompe-l'œil

Trompe-l'œil print designed by Rosalind Keep.

This Oasis cotton dress was bought from ASOS during last summer's sales, but missed the season as it was already too late for summer dresses.

Hopefully will get the action it deserves this season, if summer decides to pay us a visit, that is.

And yes.

You've already seen me wearing it winter-style during last autumn's fashion week.

I just couldn't wait.

Black, white, red and green

fashionarchitect.net_pepper
Pepper that is.

More precisely, whole peppercorns of various colours and other spices that have been residing in my kitchen ever since my friend Greta gave them to me as a gift from her trip in Istanbul. And yes, that's a lot of them.

Especially if you don't actually own a pepper mill. An unfortunate lack of equipment which I decided to fix quickly, given my obsession for spicy stuff and the obvious abundance of supplies. But since I don't have time nor patience to go real-life shopping for anything other than clothes and shoes, I decided to e-commerce my way out of my spice problem.I took advantage of a special free shipping offer that Greek online shop Buldoza had going on a couple of weeks ago and placed my order.

Since I like to mix my peppers, Ι decided to get one dark wood pepper mill for my black/red/green/white pepper mix and a mill-and-salt-shaker set to keep on the table for plain black pepper and salt, all by German manufacturer Fackelmann.

Oh, and a pair of American Vintage lounge track bottoms. What, you thought I could actually order online from a shop that offers clothes too and not get something from that department as well?

The stuff arrived in four days.
I am very pleased with the small mill, but sadly the large one didn't stand up to my expectations. It grinds poorly and delivers one third of the quantity compared to the small one. I'm actually thinking of placing an order for an extra couple of single small ones for my various pepper mixes.

And maybe this time I'll combine my order with this cute stripy top.

Fullah Sugah n' love

Care package alert!

Big thanks to Fullah Sugah who decided to give our summer wardrobes a lift. This first parcel contained a pair of amazingly comfortable blue floral rope wedges and a couple of chunky bangles.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the brand, Fullah Sugah is one of the first Greek fashion companies to launch their own e-shop.

To our benefit, they carry not only the collection offered currently in stores, but last year's stock as well, in greatly discounted prices of course. To shop the ongoing sale, just visit the site and press OLDIES SUMMER 2010 under the COLLECTION tab, and you're up for some seriously pocket-friendly online shopping!

Oh, and I almost forgot! Links for my blue floral shoes here and for my bangles here.

Heart on top

Sonia by Sonia Rykiel knit top in purple and black stripes, with crossing wide straps on the back and embroidered red heart in front, bought last spring from Fenastock.

I'm not big on buying big name designers, but when I do, it's usually all about the specific designer's signature piece. Stripes, hearts and brightly coloured knits are all Sonia Rykiel's specialties, so this top seemed ideal to represent her brand in my closet.

Even if it's just her diffusion line.

What's up doc?

Nümph is a new Danish brand, a result of the dream of seven young women who (according to their "about" page) wanted to create their ideal type of clothes that they would wish to pull out of the wardrobe cabinet time and again. Feminine, yet edgy. Faultless, yet affordable. Design and tailor details, but still useful on a rainy Tuesday.

They have my vote on that!

This particular rabbit print marl grey sweater with scattered black sequins and hot pink drawstring detail is called Irma and was one of my sales buys from ASOS. Only size L is left though, which is probably ok if you like it loose and cozy, since I got the M.

However, if you are a really petite girl living in Greece, there's also the XS left and on sale on greek e-shop Buldoza, which stocks more Nümph stuff as well. And if you're really not into internet shopping (which I think is really not that probable) you can also find Nümph in a skater clothes shop called Playground, 5 Sokratous st. in Halandri.

Don't say I didn't help, happy rabbit hunting!

Save the blue

Scary?

It shouldn't be.

In fact, sharks are the ones that should be scared of us.

Meet my Mini for Many by Minimarket Save The Blue t-shirt, featuring an amazing shark illustration by Annelie Carlström, who you probably remember from that post and matching t-shirt.

What's most interesting about this t-shirt is that the profit from its sales goes towards the making of Save The Blue informative documentary about the shark hunt.

And the shark t-shirt might be old news as it's long sold-out, but their two latest t-shirt-for-a-good-cause projects are Save The Rain Forest and Save The Gorillas.

Minimarket (find them on twitter and on facebook) is a swedish clothing label founded in 2006 by three sisters.

I may have gotten this t-shirt from Revolve Clothing, but you'll probably have more luck finding their stuff on TheOutnet and ASOS. In fact I've already ordered myself some more Mini For Many goodies from TheOutnet, but they're just too summery to be posted just yet.

And I'm a tease like that.
