Profile SNSD (Girls' Generation) Korean Girlband adalah sembilan anggota Korea Selatan yang dibentuk oleh SM Entertainment pada tahun 2007. Sembilan anggotanya terdiri atas: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona dan Seohyun. Mereka umumnya disebut sebagai Soshi, atau SNSD.

Para anggota SNSD (Girls' Generation) secara profesional terlatih terutama dalam menyanyi dan menari, sementara beberapa anggota juga dipilih untuk dilatih dalam akting dan model. Banyak anggota sudah membuat nama untuk diri mereka sendiri dalam industri hiburan Korea melalui partisipasi mereka dalam iklan majalah, iklan televisi, dan penampilan televisi kecil. Selama hampir dua tahun, website Korea berspekulasi tentang mana dari SM Entertainment perempuan peserta pelatihan akan ditempatkan ke dalam kelompok.

Pada bulan Maret 2008, album ini dirilis ulang dan re-berjudul Baby Baby. Sebuah single ketiga, "Baby Baby", digunakan untuk mempromosikan album. Sebuah EP digital yang menampilkan Jessica, Tiffany, dan Seohyun dirilis pada April 2008, berjudul Teman Sekamar. Single dari album mini adalah "Oppa Nappa".

SNSD (Girls' Generation), bersama dengan sesama seniman seperti BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, CSJH Grace, Zhang Liyin, SHINee dan artis SM lainnya berpartisipasi dalam SM Town Live '08. Tur memperluas rute ke Korea Selatan, Thailand, dan China.

Pada tanggal 27 Oktober 2010, label SNSD (Girls' Generation) SM Entertainment merilis album mini ketiga kelompok itu berjudul Hoot. The "Hoot" tunggal dirilis pada 25 Oktober di 10:00 KST melalui berbagai website musik online. Sebelum comeback mereka, setelah hanya merilis "Hoot" pada 25 Oktober, butuh kurang dari 7 menit untuk "Hoot" mendominasi 7 besar chart musik Korea realtime, topping setiap satu dari mereka di # 1 termasuk Monkey3, Dosirak, Melon, Soridaba, Cyworld, Bugs dan Daum. SM Entertainment merilis MV Hoot pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2010 pada homepage SM dan saluran resmi mereka youtube. MV ini juga menampilkan anggota Super Junior Choi Siwon. Dalam waktu kurang dari 24 jam "Hoot" MV memukul lebih dari 1 juta penonton di Youtube. Mereka pertama kali meraih kinerja mereka di Music Bank pada tanggal 5 November 2010.

It's hard to believe she's only in her early 20's; she has such amazing passion.

With her signature long flowing skirts and closely cropped hair, Mariza is as beautiful to look at 

as she is to listen to.

Though more a mixture of flamenco and jazz than fado, Buika's music sits nicely alongside these 

other talented ladies. Her smooth, husky voice voice sends chills down my spine.
